    Ajman Gold Market

Gold has been traded throughout Arabia since medieval times, and you can hone your haggling skills in the glittering Gold Souq located in the heart of the city. A stone’s throw from the Traditional Souq, the modern Gold Souq is found on Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street in the Nakheel neighbourhood, a busy commercial centre known for its traditional-styled buildings. Whether you’re looking to indulge in a spot of retail therapy or simply window-shopping, it’s handy to know that gold is sold by weight, based on international rates, but you can negotiate on the level of workmanship. You can choose from Arab, Indian or European designs, or commission a bespoke piece for a lasting memory of Ajman.
