    Allama Iqbal Mausoleum

    Allama Iqbal tomb is the most simple and impressive structure situated in Lahore, Pakistan, between Lahore Fort and Badshahi Masjid. The structure of Allama Iqbal tomb is a reflection of a combination of Moorish and Afghan Architecture. Red sandstones were used to manufacture the tomb of Allama Iqbal. Thousands of people come to visit the mausoleum per day to pay their due respect to Poet Allama Iqbal.   Allama Iqbal was considered as one of the most inspiring characters behind the movement of Pakistan. Allama Iqbal was given a name of Mukaffir-e-Pakistan which means the Thinker of Pakistan and Shair-e-Mashriq meaning the Poet of the East. Allama Iqbal died in 1938, 21 of April in Lahore at the age of 60.As a tribute to Allama Iqbal the name of the Lahore Airport was named Allama Iqbal International Airport.   After the death of Allama Iqbal a committee was formed presided by Muhammad Hussain, the initial designs submitted by different architects were not satisfactory. The committee decided to design a new combination rather than following specific school of arthitect.The final mode was designed from Mughal tradition and was a mixture of Moorish and Afghanistan architecture. The Tomb has two gates located at the eastern and southern sides, tiled with marble. White marbles were used to build the grave.   There are Quranic verses inscribed in calligraphy on tombstone. People of Afghanistan gifted the tombstone. Ghazals are carved from the book name Zabur-e-Ajam written by Allama Iqbal inside walls. There is a small garden outside divided into small plots. Tomb was architect by Nawab Zain Yar Jang Bahadur which took 13 years to build this tomb, the major reason of delay was the shortage of red stone from Jaipur .The tomb was built at a cost of one hundred thousand rupees.

    Altit Fort is a Historical landmark and Tourist Attraction located in Hunza Valley Gilgit Baltistan.     Altit Fort is an ancient fort at Altit town in the Hunza valley in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It was originally home to the hereditary rulers of the Hunza state who carried the title Mir, although they moved to the somewhat younger Baltit fort nearby three centuries later. Altit Fort and in particular the Shikari tower is around 1100 years old, which makes it the oldest monument in the Gilgit–Baltistan.

    Amb Sharif id Located is a Historical Place and Tourist Attraction Located In Quaidabad Punjab Pakistan The fort and temples of Anmb Shareef are located in tehsil Quaidabad. Most of the people consider these temples as a part of the area of Soon Valley because of its contiguity to the dhoks of Mahoriyaan but officially, it is designated in tehsil Quaidabad rather than tehsil Khushab.     These buildings hold a special interest for the archaeologists. Originally, the whole of this area was a fort in which there were one palace and two temples. Nowadays, only the palace and one temple exist. There used to be different statues in this fort but nothing is left of them now. The architecture of the temple is of Kashmiri style. The palace comprises of three floors but one can only approach the ground and the first floor. Each floor has a central hall.

    Ayubia National Park

    The Ayubia National park is located in Murree Hills, Abbottabad District, Khyber Paktun Khuwa. It is named after Muhammad Ayub Khan the second President of Pakistan. This park was begun in 1984 and administered by Wildlife department KPK. The popularity of this forest is that these forests are “temperate coniferous forest”. These parks are surrounded by populated covered by seven villages and three small towns.   This place is much known for its tourist spot. There is very know the pipeline walking track between donga Gali to Ayubia, in the era of 1950 during British rule, they lay down a water pipeline to supply water to the merry hill station, after that this destination become very popular among tourist, the area covered almost 4km and it takes almost forty to fifty minutes to cover this distance, this trek is considered very easy to do that’s why it is very popular among all age group, almost 100,000 people visit every year to confine the natural seeing and take pleasure of the astonishing weather around. Their area is also covered with high-quality restaurants and motels, to enjoy the lovely weather during summers these hotels are totally occupied with tourists.   There is also chairlift which covered two tops of a mountain is the center of attraction for the tourist. They can enjoy the natural seeing, lush green mountains, and astonishing weather at the top. In the winter this placed is covered with snow. While the access of this destination is very easy as the paved road facility is there. There are total one hundred four species found in this location specially deodar. This place is also famous for bird species including golden eagle; also include the highest population of “KOKLASS PHEASANT” and very rare “Kalij Pheasant”. Where tourists also amazed by experiencing wildlife like black bear, Kashmir hill fox, and Palm Civet.

      Baba and Bhit Islands, is a group of associated islands of the Pakistani coastline along the Arabian Sea. Both boat and helicopter transfers are available from Agatti to Bangaram and Kadmat. The helicopter (US$350return) may be the only option in monsoon season from May to September.     Badshahi Mosque

    Badshahi Mosque (transformation in English: Royal Mosque) is the second largest mosque of Pakistan,  located in provincial capital Lahore of Punjab. Badshahi Masjid is a Tourist Attraction and a must visited place in Lahore Pakistan.   It was built in 1673 A.D. by the sixth Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir. The mosque remained the largest mosque in the world from 1673 to 1986, when it was overtaken in capacity and size upon the completion of Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. It has a total area of 29,867.2 square meters (321, 488 square feet) and can accommodate up to 100,000 worshipers. Now it is an 8th largest mosque in the world in terms of its capacity for accommodating worshipers and 10th largest in terms of total area. Badshahi Mosque with its beautiful Mughal architectural style and historical background is a major landmark and tourist attraction not only in Lahore but in whole Punjab.     The mosque was built under the patronage of the sixth Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb Alamgir. It was completed in 1673 under the supervision of Aurangzeb's foster brother Muzaffar Hussain (also known as Fidaie Khan Koka) who was appointed a governor of Lahore in May 1671 and held this post until 1675. He was also Master of Ordnance to the emperor.     The construction of the mosque took about two years, from May 1671 to April 1673. The mosque was built opposite the Lahore Fort, illustrating its stature in the Mughal Empire. In conjunction with the building of the mosque, a new gate was built at the fort, named Alamgiri Gate after the Emperor. From 1852 onwards, piecemeal repairs were carried out under the supervision of the Badshahi Mosque Authority. Extensive repairs were carried out from 1939 to 1960 at a cost of about 4.8 million rupees, which brought the mosque to its original shape and condition. The blueprint for the repairs was prepared by the late architect Nawab Zen Yar Jang Bahadur.     In 2000, the repair work of marble inlay in the main vault was repaired under the supervision of Saleem Anjum Qureshi. On the occasion of the second Islamic Summit held at Lahore on February 22, 1974, thirty-nine heads of Muslim states offered their Friday prayers in the Badshahi Masjid, led by Maulana Abdul Qadir Azad, the 'Khatib' of the mosque. Recently a small museum has also been added to the mosque complex, which contains relics of Muhammad, his cousin, and his daughter, Hazrat Fatima Zahra.

    Baltit Fort

      Baltit  Fort is a Historical Place and tourist attraction Located in Gilgit Baltistan,  Pakistan.     Baltit Fort is an ancient fort in the Hunza valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Founded in the 8th CE, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list since 2004.     In the past, the survival of the feudal regime of Hunza was ensured by the impressive fort, which overlooks Karimabad. The foundations of the fort date back to 700 years ago, with rebuilds and alterations over the centuries. In the 16th century the local prince married a princess from Baltistan who brought master Balti craftsmen to renovate the building as part of her dowry.   The Mirs of Hunza abandoned the fort in 1945, and moved to a new palace down the hill. The fort started to decay which caused concern that it might possibly fall into ruin. Following a survey by the Royal Geographical Society of London a estoration programme was initiated and supported by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture Historic Cities Support Programme. The programme was completed in 1996 and the fort is now a museum run by the Baltit Heritage Trust.

    Baltoro Glacier

    Baltoro Glacier Overview   Baltoro glacier is Tourist Attraction situated on the southern slopes of the central Karakoram range in the Baltistan area of Jammu and Kashmir. The Baltoro Glacier, at 63 km (39 mi) in length, is one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions. It runs through part of the Karakoram mountain range. The Baltoro Muztagh lies to the south and east of the glacier, while the Masherbrum Mountains lie to the south. At 8,611 m (28,251 ft), K2 is the highest mountain in the region, and three others within 20 km top 8,000 m.   The glacier gives rise to the Shigar River, which is a tributary of the Indus River. Several large tributary glaciers feed the main Baltoro Glacier, including the Godwin Austen Glacier, flowing south from K2; the Abruzzi and the various Gasherbrum Glaciers, flowing from the Gasherbrum group of peaks; the Vigne Glacier, flowing from Chogolisa, and the Yermandendu Glacier, flowing from Masherbrum. The confluence of the main Baltoro Glacier with the Godwin Austen Glacier is known as Concordia; this location and K2 base camp are popular trekking destinations.   The trough of this glacier is very wide. Small valley glaciers form icefalls where they meet the trunk glacier. The sidewalls vary from very steep to precipitous. The glacier has carved striations on the surrounding country rocks. Moving ice has formed depressions, which serve as the basis for numerous glacial lakes. The glacier can be approached via the important Balti town of Skardu."
