Dowlat Abad Garden is one of the 9 Iranian gardens included on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites; it is 270 years old and was built by the governor of Yazd. Its most iconic feature is its tall wind catcher which is 33.8 meters high. Inside the pavilion, you can stand underneath the wind catcher and see how it works. Furthermore, Orosi sash windows with colored glasses make the pavilion very attractive. Also, existence of such garden close to a huge desert is noteworthy.
