Some 200 kilometers west of Karachi in the vicinity of Hingol National Park Area exists a rare natural wonder – The Great Mud Volcanoes of Balochistan, called Chandragup Mud Volcanoes. There are known to be as much as 21 mud volcanoes in Hingol with some of the largest ones in the world also speculated to be here. These volcanoes don’t spit out the molten lava rather, they are nature’s claywork factories spitting out wonders. In fact, the unique construction of all of the Hingol National Parks’ muddy hills and statues is an artwork of these Mud Volcanoes constantly erupting with clay.
The Chandragup Mud Volcanoe which is live & bubbling, is relatively easily reachable however you have to offroad some 8 kilometers to be able to reach this spectacular sight. And once you reach there, you are left with nothing less than awe and inspiration. Some 5 kilometers ahead of these mud volcanoes lie an untouched and unnamed beach that is only reachable via 4×4 vehicles and hosts some of the rarest wildlife and mesmerizing blue waters.
Love offroading? This place is literally an offroader’s heaven! With pretty much every kind of terrain an offroading enthusiast can love. Plastered clay grounds, mud volcanoe hills, soft beach sand dunes and what not!
