    Description: ‘Karez’ is a local irrigation system which works as a water reservoir/source. ‘Spin’ means white in Pashto. The actual karez lies somewhere around the small lake which is now called Spin Karez and this is the main attraction. The reflection of the mountains gives a beautiful look. There’s plenty of land around the lake so you can even do camping there. The main entrance is through an Army area and special permission is needed for that but the lake can be accessed via another passage through the main road, just a few seconds away from the main entrance, which is free and open all day long. It’s a must-see while you’re in Quetta, hardly at a distance of 20-30 minutes from city centre.
