The Roomi Park is located on the Roomi Road, Rawalpindi. This park was initially established in 1903 when the British governed sub-continent. This park was established in the memory of the British Indian commander William Stephen Alexander after his death in 1900. Later this park is renovated by the Pakistan government after the partition of the subcontinent. In 2015, this park is again renovated by the government of Punjab. The new look of this park is really beautiful and attractive for the people of every age. A number of more attractions are added to this park. Every year a large number of visitors visits this park. First of all this park has a lot of greenery, grass, trees and beautiful seasonal flowers with various colors that increase the beauty of this park.
This park has proper sitting arrangements for the visitors so that the visitors can enjoy sitting in a clean green natural environment. It also has a properly created jogging tracks for the people who wish to visit this park for exercise. Roomi Park has a number of outdoor swings along with the beautiful creative monuments of several animals that attract the attention of the visitors visiting this park. Park also has a newly established fun land for children known as Ibn-e-Battuta Amusement Park which has become the main piece of attraction for the children now. Because of this fun land children wants to visit this park again and again.
The fun land has a large number of indoor games and swing for the children. Because of the establishment of this Funland in Roomi Park, the number of visitors visiting this park has increased a lot. Roomi park also has a well-established food court which offers a variety of mouth-watering food to the visitor visiting Roomi Park.
