Bagh-e-Jinnah is one of the historical parks in the city of Lahore, Punjab. This garden was previously known as Lawrence Garden. This garden was originally built as a botanic garden and it was named after John Lawrence.
Bagh-e-Jinnah covers an area of 141 acres. Bagh-e-Jinnah is a very beautiful botanical garden. It has almost more the 150 types of trees, 50 varieties of creepers, 140 types of shrubs, and 30 palms along with almost every kind of seasonal plat. The environment of Bagh-e-Jinnah is very peaceful and refreshing. The human soul feels very good among these different types of beautiful plants. Bagh-e-Jinnah also has two libraries in it; one is Quaid-e-Azam Library and the other is Darussalam.
These libraries are a great source of knowledge for knowledge seekers. Park also has a tomb of the Great saint Baba Turat Murad Shah. A large number of people visits this tomb every day. Bagh-e-Jinnah also has a famous cricket ground known as Gymkhana cricket ground. Bagh-e-Jinnah also has a restaurant which serves delicious food to the visitors. This park is always crowded with the visitors and tourist because of its beautiful green atmosphere. One should visit this park at least once in a month to refresh his soul and to relax his mind.
