    Iqbal Park which was formerly known as Minto Park is situated at Lahore. The renovation of Iqbal Park started on October, 10th 2015 to convert the area between Iqbal Park and Badshahi Mosque into a theme park. After renovation Iqbal Park then names as The Great Iqbal Park.

     

    Great Iqbal Park is a project by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). The inauguration of Great Iqbal Park was taken place on November, 9th 2016. This newly built theme park has its own beauty. Beautiful colors flowers are used all over the park for decoration. Different color flowers are decorated in amazing ways. One should definitely visit this park to see the art which they have used to decorate the flowers. There is a huge water dance fountain in Great Iqbal Park.

     

    This fountain is the major source of attraction for the people visiting Lahore. This fountain gives an eye-catching view at night, water of different colors dances which provides a breathtaking view. The Great Iqbal Park is a very beautiful project of Punjab government. This park is a very good picnic place for the residents of Lahore and also for the people visiting Lahore. Great Iqbal Park opens daily from 6:15 AM to 11:00 PM for the public.
