Introduction of Thailand:
Known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. Home to Golden Pagodas, lively walking streets, tropical beaches, and a variety of tourist attractions, Thailand is a hot tourist destination in Southeast Asia and home to mesmerizing and splendid tourist destinations such as BANGKOK, HUA HIN, SAMUI, PATTAYA and PHUKET. Thailand is divided into 76 provinces (which are gathered into five groups of provinces by location). Thai provinces are administrated by regions, Northern Thailand, Northeastern Thailand, Central Thailand and Southern Thailand. The country’s geography extends from Thai Highlands in the North to the Chao Phraya river valley in the Centre towards narrow Kra Isthmus that widens into the Malay Peninsula in the south. The country is famous for its tourism throughout the world and hosted a record 32.59 million tourists in 2016. While Bangkok prides upon ultramodern infrastructure, the tropical beaches of PHUKET and PATTAYA mesmerize the viewer.About Bangkok & Phuket:
Travel for budget or super luxury; quiet romantic dinners or ravishing nightlife; serene meditation or bustling shopping streets; mega malls or speeding tuk tuks; Bangkok caters to the need of every soul. The city extends from the boat-filled Chao Phraya River which feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple to Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire. Bangkok features super economy hostels for bachelors as well as ultra luxurious hotels to cater to high end travelers. It offers economic accommodation with super benefits.
Down in the South Some 850 km away is Phuket, known throughout the world for its tropical beaches, white sands and clear turquoise waters. It is nearly an hour’s flight away from Bangkok and offers a large number of beachside resorts, hotels and water activities. The Patong Beach in Phuket is famous for its beach resorts, and Bangla road nightlife. Phuket also houses a number of museums but is largely visited due to the vibrant “beach life” that it offers to tourists.
The SONGKRAN FESTIVAL is the celebration of Thai New Year featuring week long celebrations of fun water games and water fights. Tourists are showered in water by Thai elephants. Whole Thailand is indulged into festive mood amid live wire celebrations. The Thai New Year period marks the increase in number of tourists and beginning of lots of entertaining and fun filled activities.
